So I went to Luna park a few weekends ago with some friends... we were lucky enough to organize it on a day when it wasn't too hot and the St Kilda Festival was on! That means free music peoppple!

I'm going to university!

Nothing beauty related I know... and I know I'm kinda talking to myself here but ahwell, this blog can be a sort of diary too... haha but I thought I'd let whoever is interested know that I am going to university! :)

I have applied and have received an offer for university to do an Arts degree and I'm pretty excited! 

If you've read one of my early posts, you'd know I am not exactly sure about what I want to do anymore and I am quite confused as many 20 something's are at this stage in their life!
But I'm sure one day life will reveal it's purpose to me and I'll realize why I had to go through such a confusing time...

 

I start in march, and haha, turns out my boyfriend got into the same university, so we can go together!

Anyway, sorry this wasn't the best longest post in the world but I thought I'd let it be known.

Christmas goodies!

Merry Christmas everyone!
hope you all had / are having a great Christmas !

I was way too spoilt this year and I thought I'd share with you what I got :)
I'm not trying to brag in any way, just sharing some of the things I received for Chrissy.
I've had a really good day, apart from being sick! (my whole family woke up with a flu )

I couple of days ago I went into work (I work at Coles) and they said there was a present for me!
I was so surprised to see the huge present sitting at the service desk!
They had been running a December gift competition where each day up until Christmas eve they draw one team members name out of a barrel and that team member receives a gift.
The present gets bigger and better as the month goes on!
I got this on the 21st so the box was pretty big haha.

Favourite internet gurus!

I am so incredibly grateful that I grew up surfing the internet. It's something I just love doing. There's so much information on whatever topic you may be interested in, and can be a great way to relax after a long day, or something to do when there's nothing else to do! I may not be involved in everything social media wise. To be honest I don't even really use facebook that much anymore! YouTube, Instagram and Bloglovin are some of my favourite websites on the internet these days and

ORLY Nail Polish

 

So I was wondering through the chemist the other night and picked up some ORLY nail polish.
I have been looking for a nail polish that isn't too plain but goes with most clothes / looks.
So I decided on these two pretty ones.
The glittery one on the left is rage which is a really pretty rose gold polish,

I'm wearing this at the moment and I just can't stop looking at it!
 It's a very unique polish in the fact that it's closer to rose gold than gold.
I love rose gold so I had to have it, and the fact that it will go with anything was a plus!

The next polish is a simple taupe shade called country club khaki which I think just looks really simple and classy as well as workable with any style of clothes.

I realize that these two colours are very similar, but I think I was just drawn to the shades because they are so simple, easy colours to wear!

So I had a friends 21st last weekend, and I thought I would share what I wore on the blog.

It was such a good night, so much fun and the venue was perfect!

I've only been to a handful of 21st's and they are just so lovely.

All the kind words, the baby photos, ha, some more embarrassing than others, and the heartfelt speeches from friends and family! ♥

 There was a photo booth and a great photographer there on the night which was awesome too!

I decided on a black dress with diamante detailing around the sleeves from White Closet, a pair of  black heels by Zoe Wittner, my Citizen watch, and some simple bracelets from Equip. I wore my hair in a messy fish tail braid and kept my makeup fairly minimal. 

Unfortunately I haven't got all the photos from the night, so I will upload the ones I have and then when I get them I'll put them up!
